Rose hips are rich in nutrients, including Vitamins A, B1, B3, K and are especially rich in Vitamin C. They are a super fruit that has gained a following for their positive role in promoting good health. Rose hips get their beautiful colour from carotenoid pigments called lycopene and beta carotene. These pigments have been shown to promote skin and eye health. Rose hips are also a rich source of antioxidants, which are important for fighting disease. Rose hips are known to help lower inflammation. Rose hips are also known to have a positive effect on joint health and the immune system.
